The TRAI [ Telecom Regulatory Of India ] will not allow any mobile companies to use their private network or free offers to it’s users. Any private architecture that will be designed to evade the regulation on differential tariffs will be rejected.

India’s great service provider Bharti Airtel wants to offer plan for video contents to subscribers through a private network with own price structures. TRAI had denied this and banned all tariif plans, which don’t come under it’s rules and privacy terms.

TRAI announced on last Wednesday to review the issues of free data and tariff plans for private network, it will release consultancy papers soon.

“For net neutrality, the pre-consultation has happened and we are now in the process of firming-up the final consultation paper, hopefully by the end of this month,” Chairman, R S Sharma said on the sidelines of a conference.
